First off I made the bow-front a juvie south/central american cichlid tank that presently is home to 2 pair of tiger oscars one pair is black an orange and a pair is albino . Also has 3 stripped rapheal catfish . Also juvies , I love catfish they are so amazing to watch , just not the corys lol i know i know Im the only person on earth that doesnt like them but they just dont look like catfish to me ...I like the rapheal , bumble bee , upside down , zamora , cuckoo , marbled synodontis these to me are the cool catfish each is very diffrent and really cool .But i got way off target their sory . The second tank is a south / central american tropical community composed of a few diffrent cichlids and barbs an rasboras with my bumble bee cats an ADF's the frogs were on watch at first I wasnt sure if they would be okay with the cichlids but they are pregnant and i didnt wanna move her if i didnt have too but its okay they are fine the cichlids havent botherd them at all , the frogs actually scarethe little cichlids lol they bite at them when they get close and the cichlids dart away . Now spawning time will be a little diffrent IM sure but I have numerous places for everyone to go and leave each other alone so Im hopin it will be fine .

Ask Frank with help for ADF. Did you seriously try to post a tank update without pics?

First of all, I'm thrilled for you guys. I really am. That being said, you need to picture this in your minds. Charlie setting up his two new big tanks, Dan setting up his new huge tank, and then there's me. I'm blinking back tears as I type this. Yesterday, yours truly set up a "tank" using a clear storage tote and spare parts. If that isn't sad enough, the heater isn't working. I know you guys are snickering as you read this. Oh well, at least my new plants are arriving today. They'll probably be frozen. It's not funny !

I gotta go with Dan on that one Frank I got a couple of hard plastic kiddie pools I use in the warm seasons (all year except nov-feb) and they work great for lil fish ponds . And whats wrong with the plastic boxes man I got a couple clear plastic storage bins I use as gardens for my plants ( i keep them in my bed room and storage room but i keep them none the less I actually like them they require the least amount of maintanince as well as they hold more stuff than any tank i had till the 55 gal super awsome tank i have now !! woohoo !!!! ahem ...excuse me I mean the 55 galon tank i have now . sory . You know I do have a 30 tall that i was goin to turn into a grow out for my cichlids but ... whats the biggest tank you have Frank ? And I put a heater on the karma topic the first month an noone wanted it , I still got it if ya need it . We can send that it wont die in the cold .

Nice , I want a bigger tank lol . Did you notice when you got your tank the price of the stands man I almost fell down I mean it i had chest pain when i saw the price ..the stand was like 60-70 $$ more than the tank !! I mean c'mon whats up with that ? So being the kinda guy i am i went to "the" wal-mart lol and got a 54.00$ farm house bench lol its the exact deminseions of the tank like it was made for it lol My wife told me i was cheap but it looks okay good even and i refuse to pay more for a stand (a plain ole stand ) i might add , than the tank itself .

I saw some stands made out of concrete blocks, 2x4s, and plywood. The painted ones didn't look all that bad and the unpainted would be fine for the basement. I plan on doing that for my tanks in the basement whenever I need to do a major overhaul. I have an old time unfinished basement, so it's no biggy.
