You guys know how I struggle with aquascaping. I have no imagination and find it impossible to reproduce what I see. Well, guess whose wife is an artist and has an excellent eye and talent for such things ? It struck me when the new driftwood arrived. I thought, how will I make my tank look even more ridiculous with this neat stuff ? Then I looked at my wife said, Hon would you be willing to arrange this for me. She jumped all over the idea and even brought it up later ! I know I'm giving up a little control here but, I think the trade off will pay off in spades. Definitely will provide before and after pics and let you be the judges.

Be afraid be very afraid lol No seriously be warned getting your wife involved in the life is great and awfull all in one or it has ben for me anyway but maybe you'll have better luck . E.x-My wife after being asked to help pick a fish or decor for yrs finally said she wanted one , one of her own she wanted oscars ( i think it was deliberate ) and said fish needs a massive tank alone much less a small group of them ( wich she brought home ) . What Im getting at with the story is , getting her involved is good but the down side is supporting her in the life as well will take away from your up grades or new anything because you will be supplien her new tank with equipment instead . My wife needs another 50 gal or a 75 would be better ( long not tall ) in case anyone has one for $$$$ . Craigs list sux . Im lucky I have all the filters an heaters and hoods an all the crap she needs for a dozen tanks but the average person doesnt and it will get expensive fast as you know . The up side is she will finally understand your passion and be in favor of the purchases and even bringing up the topic of up grades or new this an that , so its great .

CLs are so different from place to place. In some areas they tell you to meet the person in a public place so they don't find out where you live. I've only bought firewood from CL and the people were very nice and accommodating.
