I'm using two CFL daylight bulbs that are supposedly the same as 40 watts each. The plants are a mix of moderate to bright light species. They all look OK but, I'm wondering if a little extra light would give them a boost. I have some CFL daylight bulbs that are supposed to be equal to 60 watts each. So I'm thinking the light temperature should remain the same but, the intensity will increase. What do you guys think ? The tank is stocked to the limit and I use SeaChem Flourish Comp twice a week. I'd like to see a little more growth and reproduction.
