Infection

Well I'm back , To add salt to a wound so to speak . I have had pretty much the worst week of my life and today got a letter that actually made me feel like I'd make it through it and after I got home from town I noticed my tank ...where's my fish ??...Everything had grouped up in tight groups species only guppys where in one corner on bottom cherry barbs and rosy's where in the other and both pairs of cichlids were n the front one the cats were on the surface gasping my ghost knife was dead ...I am assumeing bacterial infection maybe "columnaris" after maybe 5 hours all the rosy's are dead the german rams are dead some of the cherries are some are still holding on the bolivian rams are alive for the moment but not looking good the bumble bee cats are just swimming up and free floating down bumpin into everything on the way like they are dead then when they hit bottom they spring back to life and swim to the surface and free fall agin ... my ADF's seem to be fine I have a very pregnant one and she seems perfectly healthy , does anyone know if columnaris will affect amphibians ? My glass shrimp and snails are okay to , well I take that back the snails are acting strange my MTS are clrawling up the sides of the tank glass wich is unheard of ..
I have been doseing with "maracyn" and "melafix" I turned up the heat but just a touch as it was already high due to spawn I had triggerd with my rams , I added two air lines also and removed the carbon from the filtration .
Is their anything else y'all know that I might be over looking in treatment ?
I checked my water levels and everything is wonderful all zeros , Oh and I turned on the UV steralizer too . Just waiting to see who makes it till morning , .
Tommarow I will do a 50% water change and medicate with another few pouches of maracyn and caps of melafix .
