Hey everyone , I have seen loaches and puffers talked about more and more recently and while unable to afford them or to choose for that matter lol I finally took the plunge .
I really like the Angelicus botia I may have the spelling wrong sorry . I am waiting for an order to come in with more from a freind in the mean time I came upon a family of "Clowns" and they are everything people said they were so active and playfull . I have 3 and they are absolutly identical we call them "Larry , Curly & Moe " they are are stooges lol for their size thwey are great tankmates to in my peaceful commuity . It's a 55 long so theirs room for them to dart around an play but I noticed they havent really hit the snails in the tank and I heard from everyone that they loved snails , this is one of my questions do they eat snails for anyone else out their ?
They also sleep right next to each other on a piece of mopani wood lol so cool looks like they hold on with thier mouths in a pile almost completly hidden in the "wisteria " thicklet that surounds the wood . and right at the surface to .
I also have had a red tail botia I loved that died of a columnaris outbreak a while back and fully intend to get another .
Can they "Red tail botia " and the clowns live in the same tank together ?
Also does the angelicus need to be in groups like the clown? or is it like the red tail and preffer to be alone ?
