I know am in fact sure that y'all know this already but I read some of the article and had to talk about it . On fishchannel . com they were talking about in california flushing "Lionheads" can you believe that ! ? I mean thats a really beautiful fish , not to mention the cost of it . What kind of person spends that much to just flush it away ? I cant imagine how they would survive the process of actually getting to some natural water source from the toilets but apparantly they have and are becomeing a problem for the states eco . . ... I have heard about parts of the US having similar trouble out of goldfish , and boas as well as other exotics that have no predators here . Golds I dont understand as most bass and catfish would find them easy as a treat . But I can see the lionhead being a problem . I mean could you see or imagine a basses face upon seeing that for the first time ? Those fins and all , it would scare the he%% out of anything in the water inland . When will people stop gettin and giving animals with such little thought to the future , Do they really think they wont grow ? After having them long enough for them to be big enough to be an issue isnt their any bond formed by the owner ?? I think of my fish and reptiles as kids from the time of purchase till death . Whats wrong with people? I shouldnt be surprised I guess . I mean look at what we do to each other ...why should we expect any better towards animals ,,,,
