Hey guys , I love ferns and have crap luck with them . Any tips would be awsome . Well I have okay luck with java narrow leaf and the el-nino but I like peacock and they keep dyin i was told they may not be aquatic but as i dont know the scientific name i cant find out . And the reason for el-nino post .. how is the best way to plant these ? and java ,I've heard to attach them to wood or stones but how ? I just putem in the sand and they do okay i have 2 new el-ninos but i want to do it right so how do i attach them to wood or stone ?

You use thread to tie them to the rock or driftwood. Supposedly, by the time the plants attach themselves, the thread will rot away. Hasn't worked that way for me, so I plant them in the substrate up to but not covering the rhizome. Do you guys have java moss ?

Thanks Frank , I dont have any java but I do have some moss balls that float in tank on the surface of the water . Great for the toxins these things soak up nit and amon like a 5 yr old and chocolate . If you need / want java I can get it for ya if your local store doesnt have it , just let me know .
