What is a good addition to a goldfish tank to keep algae under control ?
I have a horrible out break of algae in my coldwater tank for the first time ever and honestly have no idea what to do aside from scrapeing the sides with razor but that alone wont help i have massive plants that are coverd as well and decor in tank . I put snails in but the golds mistoke the snails for snacks and well you know .... every algae eater i can think of is a tropical warm water fish ....are their any cold water ? perhaps some cat or something Im overlooking ?
And i know i am havin trouble with a couple of my tanks at the moment ..its a bad month for me the new yr is sucking so far my biggest tank has murky water and my coldwater tank has algae alll over it ...I hope February is better , I havent had any trouble with my tanks in years like this I forgot what a pain it can be .
