I got a new piece of equipment for one of my tanks and now my fish are dieng .....
I got the Internal UV sterilzer with power head and it worked great cleared the water up over night . But since then I have lost atleast one fish a day . Although its only guppies i love my guppies and dont enjoy scooping them out dead . I thought this was a great idea but now i dont know ? could it be killing to many micros ? can the water be to clean ?
I dont know if i should remove the uv filter or if its something else .
I tested the water and everythings fine the nitrite is up but its still under 0.ppm it reads like 0.10 ppm wich isnt good but isnt toxic either so i dont know i was thinking maybe the uv is killing to much bacteria and hurting the good bacteria ?
