I have a pair of peacock's and electric zebras . I wanted to see about the ratio for them but havent really found much the link you gave had scientific names and i am still reasearching cause im to stupid to know them by memory yet lol .
Do any of you have a cichlid tanks ?
My lil girl wants albino tigers ...How fast do they grow ? She has a 20 now would that be okay for her to have a pair of juvie's until her bigger tank is cycled ? I am waiting on a 50 for her first big tank shes real excited shes is 6 yrs old and loves fishes . She has found a small group she wants badly and they are good healthy fish i want to get them for her before they are sold but i dont if she cant house them safely and healthy

Yeah sir , shes awsome with her fish i have to give it to her on that , she actually buggs me about water changes . I'm the one that does it on sunday all the tanks as quick as possible and get it over with but in my defense water change day at our house is by no means a easy chore , we have 5 tanks just in the Den alone thats not counting the bedrooms lol .
But shes been goin crazy ever since I got the cichlids every time we go to the stores she goes straight to the albino tigerrs , she really loves them alot and they are a great pet fish very interactive with there owners so i think it will be a great starter cichlid for her , as well as they are long liveing fish . They will do little showings tricks if you will where they show out when there person gets close to the tank i thinnk she will get crazy over that lol .
Plus it gives me a spot for access fry to go lol .

In a few years when she is old enough to type set her up on this site. If she is really good at talking care of them and she has the space buy her a 75. Cichlids look awesome in there

She already sites with me and looks at everything when Im doing research online about fish and working on the site . She is very smart she plays games on line but she aint ready for the site i dont think .
