Hey Frank this is for you and others but mainly you lol I have two types of java fern windolov and narrow leaf both are very hardy and doing well . The windolov is ready to cut as i got it fully grown and is already spreading , what is your favorite java type and why ? Also is there any particular shipping for these ferns ? I really like the java for one main reason . Nothing eats them . Nothing can kill or tear them up , and they can live in most any water conditions .

Wich ones ? I blame frank for this anyway lol he said he wanted some . Just forgot to mention wich kind . I would suggest the windlov if you want some Dan the windolov have cool looking leaves they look like hands at the end of the leaf . And they attach to stuff really good . Mine attached to a peice of mopani in about a week ! Now its awsome but its fast growing way diffrent than my el-nino that thing hasnt grown an inch yet . Its still very green and healthy looking though just appears to be stuck in the size it is .

Sure, jump all over the cool ones, Dan. I've only had the narrow leaf and I like them for all the reasons you mentioned, Charlie. That Windelov is really interesting looking. I get all of my plants online and the outfit I use does a great job of packaging the plants. Probably overkill for us but, here's what they do. First they fold the plants into sopping wet white paper (looks like butchers paper without the waxy side). Then they put that inside of a plastic bag. Next they put that into a padded shipping bag and finally they put that in a box. I would think we could use brown paper bags for the white paper and skip the padded bags and just use wadded up newspaper for cushioning.

I like it . So you want the windolov right Frank ? Do you have or like the El-nino ? I have like 4-5 of them they dont seem to be growing after i seperated the cluster but they are healthy just maybe taking awhile for them to settle .. So heres the way I have it so far Frank gets - Windolov java , El-nino , Dan gets - Java "both?" , El-Nino , Crptocryne wendetii , Bacopa Caroliniana "green" , Aponageton bulbs "sprouted 2 Inch" , amazon swords lots lol . I also have anubias congensis but its not ready to split yet and its my favorite . If the list looks wrong let me know make changes and post the list correctly . Frank if you want to add to your just make a new frank gets list and post it lol . I have numerous plants of all i listed so its okay i can give you and Dan the same stuff just say . What planmts do y'all have ? I really want some frog bite or water lettuce something that runs on top other than my lillys .

Look I enjoy growing the plants alost as much as my fish if not just as much , and just like when you have fry the plants have babbies so to speak and you gotta get rid of them lol ( i cant find a bigger plant to feed the lil plants to ) lol . You guys dont owe me nothing , we trade between ourselves in our group hence the name ( united ) this means we are united like a family of fish keepers . Any way I can help in your hobby I want to . We are each limited to our locations supply of plants and fish but together we are able to have tanks that we dream of . Although I am limited by finances as to when I can mail stuff and weather . Just baer with me lol . And besides Dan your giveing me some shrimp remember I truely look forward to getting those I have been wanting them forever lol .

How about I make a list and send you a check ? I really don't have anything to trade right now. Make sure you cover your expenses and make some money. You put time, effort, and expense into growing these plants. OK ?

I'll try agin , Frank - I grow my plants strickly for pleasure and the benafits that they provide my tank (s) . I dont have any freinds localy you guys are the only ones I talk to and no I dont thnk thats sad before anyone says anything lol , I cant do much but I can grow anything plant or fish wise for some reason its always been easy for me . So theirs no work or toil involved and cost is no more than a bottle or flourish and a bag of root tabs every now and then . You send me a list and a self addressed box if you want to do something in way of payment thats a fair trade you pay for the shipping and I'll do the manual labor of filling the box up . My payment comes from you guys gettin the plants you want from me cause everytime you look at your tank you'll think of me and my family , thats payment enough being rememberd and thought of , being appreciated . And one day you'll have something to trade if not now then later when you do have something that has babbies or something needs trimming than well square up
