Hey guys and gals, I was wondering if any what fish do you keep with your goldfish. Personally I keep mine with a pleco or a school of cories. I have heard sucsess with white cloud minnows, but I want to know what you keep with your goldfish because I want to add some movement in my tank.
Thanks, Dan

Depending on the tank size, maybe some cold water catfish...channel cats. Maybe crawdads also. These may not add movement but, they'll definitely add interest.

Mountin minnows you can put with golds , they go by a few diffrent common names so it maybe the one your talking about . The ones I saw had pinkish body with red tiped fins . Also I know freinds that have kept diffrent kinds of freshwater with golds I can do a littl more research tommarow for ya on the matter . I know its a common that you dont mix others with golds but if you look at the reasons and are carefull and keep up with your water you can have a comm tank with golds . The waste put out of a gold is usually to much for other fish to stand as well as the low water temp the golds like but others do like cool water to just harder to find them .

What are those newish minnows they have these days...rosy minnows ? They have them in feeder fish tanks now like they used to have feeder goldfish. White Cloud Mountain Minnows would work with the temperature and if you had strong filtration, they would probably like the current. As Charlie said, the main thing is water quality due to the huge amount of waste goldfish generate. You might look at pond / lake stocking companies. They usually have a good selection of local cold water fish and other critters.
