They arrived a few hours ago. The coolest things were the dwarf baby tears on lava rock. I hope it spreads everywhere. The giant hair grass is nice in that it has identifiable roots, unlike a lot of hair grass. Everything else was pretty much as expected. I'm happy with the order overall.

Well, I don't know what the hell to do with this Java Moss. Seems like attaching it to a rock or driftwood would be like making a giant fly fishing lure. What happens if you just put it in the tank and let it do its thing ?

Lol Of course lol As for the moss ,,the only java moss I ever seen was a ball like marrimo balls you can tear it up though and tie or lay it on stuff and it will attach in a few days an start to cover and expand .( moss balls wont grow untill they are tore usually )

One of the lotus plants has already added a nice new leaf. Everything seems to be opening up and stretching out. Keeping my fingers crossed.

ahem .. umm ,, so your research paid off huh ? glad to hear that everythings goin good and taking hold . I have gotten dwarf hairgrass 2 or 3 times and it never goes good for me ... really irks me to lol but thats the way it goes i guess . I have had some bad signs comein from my plants this week and was absolutly lost as to why then after research found out that regular LED light fixture hoods I have on my new tank hoods are not good at all for plant growth and not a single store around here carrys the HO LED lights that I need I had to rig my old hoods up on my 55 to try to save my plants looks like crap but my plants are looking like they are coming back to life (slowly).

That's a shame, Charlie. If you'd done your research like me....Seriously, I hope everything turns out well for your plants. A four foot shop light from Home Depot fits a 55 perfectly. I got a twin bulb fixture to "improve" my lighting. Because of your advice about the nutrients and light time, I think things are about to turn around plant-wise. I haven't done the aeration yet but, I plan to. I had a question about the normal baby tears. It seem like they have roots all up and done the stems. Can / should you plant them horizontally ?

I tied some of that Java Moss to a rock yesterday. At this point, it looks like a goat puked on a rock. I'll let it grow out some before I show it to you guys. Put the rest of it in nooks and crannies in the tanks. You'll see it if /when it looks good. Kind of hard to imagine right now.
